A dark ride is a promise
You get in. It gets dark. Something is built out there in the black — rooms and turns you can't see the edges of — and the car knows the way even when you don't. That's what audio fiction is when it's done right, and it's what this house is for.
Darkride is where my stories live: full-cast audiobooks, captioned stories you can watch with the words rolling under the voices, and — soon — rides that stop in the dark and ask you which way to turn, with branches, choices, and consequences that remember.
Everything here is handmade. The stories are written on a solar-powered finca in the laurisilva cloud forest of Tenerife, voiced and mixed with Saga Studio — an open-source tool built for exactly this — and published from the same off-grid machine that wrote them. No cloud in the pipeline except the one outside the window.
The rides begin in Nivaria: the Canary Islands, a generation from now, after the world got quiet. Start with Episode 1 and let the fog come in.
