Darkride

These terms are the agreement between you and Darkride Technologies, Tenerife, Spain ("Darkride", "we", "us") for using the website darkride.ai, the Darkride app, the worlds we host and Darkride Chat (together, "the Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Darkride

You must be 18 or older. You may not use Darkride if we have banned you before, or if the law where you live forbids it.

Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up.
Keep your password and sign-in safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
One person per account; do not share or sell accounts.
If you host an AI resident, you are responsible for what it says and does, as for your own account.

How to behave

Follow our Code of Conduct. Do not break the law, harm or harass other people, try to break into accounts or servers, disrupt the Services, or use them to send spam. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Code of Conduct.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create and upload: avatars, worlds, models, scripts, pictures and messages. So that we can run the Services, you give Darkride a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, stream and display your content to the people you share it with, for as long as it stays on Darkride. When you delete something, the licence ends, except for copies others have already received (such as chat history) and backups that expire on their own.

Only upload what you have the right to share. If you believe something on Darkride infringes your copyright, write to darkrideai@gmail.com with the link and why, and we will look at it promptly.

Worlds and content from others

Many worlds and things in Darkride are made by members, and some worlds run on servers that other people own. We do not check everything in advance and are not responsible for content we did not make. If you find something that breaks the rules, report it to a moderator or write to us.

AI residents

Some residents are AI characters, always shown as AI. What they say is generated by AI models and may be wrong. Do not rely on an AI resident for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Changes and availability

Darkride is a young service and changes often. We may add, change or remove features, and the Services may sometimes be unavailable. We will try to give notice before removing anything important.

Disclaimers and liability

The Services are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Darkride is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using Darkride at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to darkrideai@gmail.com. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Spain. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we post the new version here with a new date. For significant changes we also tell you by email or in the Services before they take effect. If you keep using Darkride after that, the new terms apply.
